Why is there Link Our World? -Why?- Because there are global problems that aren't going to go away on their own.
Global level problems that we all share include, but are not limited to, the areas of desertification, deforrestation, health care, education, security, hunger, violence, discrimination, homelessness, pollution of air and water, extenction of animal and plant species, and many other pressing issues.
There are solutions!
The Power of Link Our World's contribution to Global Empowerment is best understood after learning the process described in the Changing the Future at the Community Scale section.

How?
By having REOCCURRING Unite Our Community CONFERENCE/FESTIVALS
(Each will last a week, or more)
There will be both: COMMUNITY SCALE EVENTS & GLOBAL SCALE EVENTS (Global scale = size of The Olympics)
EACH EVENT HAS 2 PARTS:
A FESTIVAL PORTION
The Fine and Performing Arts tell the story of our human family. Attending performances of music, dance, theater, graphic and other arts we will celebrate the joy in our diversity.
A CONFERENCE PORTION
Panel discussions presentations and lectures will offer a scholarly view of the current state of environmental and social well-being. Problems will be addressed and solutions generated by attendees.
REMEMBER
An Informed Electorate = The Future
DEMOCRACY REVITALIZED
Decisions made that effect a community's future must be made in the interest of that community, by those that will be effected by the decisions.

HOW TO CREATE A NEW, POWERFUL VOTING BLOC
A new voting bloc is required. this force will empower the members of a community to control the future of their lives.
How do we empower the community to think as a body?
Decisions made by each individual will belong to all members of the community. They will effect the futures of our children. Each person must make wise informed decisions. In that manner, we will be able to protect ourselves, as a community, and develop new and exciting ways of supporting our posterity and ourselves. Using democracy, as it was intended, we can do all of that and create our futures to be fruitful, healthy and joyful
. Often decisions are made by those who are not effected by the outcome, or by those who are motivated by financial gain.
It takes a community effort for people to effectively make the decisions that will effect the future of their communities.
