Everything IS Everything

EVERYTHING IS EVERYTHING

The good news is that, indeed, everything is everything. The Whole lives and breathes in every one of its parts. So everything is ALWAYS present in anything and everything! An atom, a molecule of water, a dandelion plant, a planet, a galaxy of stars--these exist as parts of a wondrous Whole that gives them existence. More to the point, All of It--Everything that Is--exists in each and every one of us, and therefore it's All interconnected with us, just as all of the interacting cells in our bodies are intricately interlinked. So whatever we do to help each other and the Earth, as individuals and as groups, however small, DOES make a difference--and perhaps even a far greater difference than we can possibly imagine!

One of history's most powerful organizers, Jesus of Nazareth, said "Where two or more are gathered together..." When such gatherings of people are empowered by the good of the whole Earth organism and the whole of humankind, more is at work than meets the eye--and much may come of it.

We are indisputably at a moment of environmental and social crisis on our planet. And the power and joy of the whole, living in each one of us, can indisputably change our personal and world situation for the better, thus making everything different.

All socially responsible action is valuable and worthy of our gratitude and celebration. As in every living system the addition of non-depleting caring and giving provides a balance that maintains equilibrium with the forces of entropy and destruction

Around the globe a tremendous number of people work unceasingly toward the goal of a just and sustainable existence for all. A huge amount of personal energy is unselfishly expended because these people care. How we should marvel as we applaud all of this caring action!

Examples Are : The March of Dimes, Audubon Society, Green peace, Oregonians Cooperating to Protect Whales, your school board, World Peace groups, etc. Each of these groups exists as a response to need, a need in our society that someone understood and organized around.

Appropriate ACTION is the key to Earth's dilemma. Socially responsible, inspired, and caring action is what we need--action that brings courage by lifting our hearts toward Unity. The Catalyst Project grows from and serves this Unity that embraces all humans and all the rest of Earth's creatures. This Unity is practical and powerful because it is real. As our awareness of it grows, it will become Everything to us, because it brings Peace that fills us.

The cat-a-lyst exists as a how to manual, a tool to help us realize the huge potential for the growth of understanding through shared action and peaceful discourse that brings together diverse people and groups to form a caring community. Communities strengthened, deepened and refreshed by conference/festivals can in turn reinvigorate the political process.
