You have heard it before and it's true now more than ever. Get involved!

CONSTANTLY INVOLVED!!

CAUTION

Don't burn yourself out on too many projects or even too many parts of one project. You can be very ineffective and cause much hassle and frustration for others by biting off more than you can chew. There is a real tendency when getting involved with socially responsible causes to see the interconnectedness of things and to want to work on all or many issues.

As a rule, it is much more effective to get involved in just one project at an "action level" than to spread your efforts so thin on several fronts that you become, as it were, transparent.
